Untrained runners who violate the law

This app doesn't provide their runners with enough training. The runners ALWAYS violate local law by taking NONCONSENTUAL photos of the customers faces inside their homes and then claim that they had to take a photo of you for the app. NOT TRUSTWORTHY. Edit: To the employee below shirking responsibility: not only have I ALREADY contacted them multiple times about this issue, there's also no way to contact your support team without creating another account ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ you will need to figure out how to respect your customers without my input!

Fix it

Trash. God forbid you accidentally get out of the app. All your cart clears out and have to start all over again.

No!

I fell for the free trial. The first order I placed from HEB I noticed every item on my list was considerably higher than when I buy in store or do curbside. It’s not the great deal they want you to think it is!

TRASH SERVICE

This is completely trash of a service. I joined for the very first time and placed an order for some groceries and they flagged the order and decided they were going to ban me. No one is telling me why the order was flagged or what the reason for the ban is. I guess ordering fruit and shampoo is a crime and they don’t allow it. I’ve sent emails about this and all they can tell me is your order was flagged and you are banned. They’ve either got illiterate people working this service or something else, possibly even illegal, is happening in the background. Complete disgrace.

Favor Gold is not fit for Texas

I’m paying for Gold and these drivers don’t read the instructions and deliver to the wrong apartment. We also cannot schedule deliveries. Texas, do better.

Higher prices, even than the HEB app

The prices per item, in the delivery section for HEB, are even higher than in the HEB app (which is higher than going in the store).

Garbage app garbage service

This app is garbage prices are super inflated compared to DoorDash or uber eats and the drivers always find a way to deliver my order to the wrong apartment complex even after telling them the correct apartment complex Don’t even bother with this app.

Scam?

I ordered some pizza was quoted a price. I paid tip, received my order. The next day I get an email saying I owe $25 on top of the price I was quoted. I checked my bank. There’s a charge there. I checked the app. It is quoting me a different price. I recheck my email a different price still. Contacted customer service they could not give me a correct breakdown of my charges. They changed my price again, and I am waiting for a manager because I cannot make final payment. Will not be using again.

Stick to Others

Went to favor support because I couldn’t access my account. They were no help, and refused to accept when they were wrong, and then went back and did what was needed once I continued to push. I pushed too hard on their feelings by calling them an idiot for not being able to see a screen recording to see that their solution was not working. I tried making a new account. Both accounts disabled. Onto DoorDash and Ubereats and GrubHub… really anything other than favor who gives no reasoning behind terminating accounts. Update: I’ve been waiting for a response from favor support since March 24th. I’ll update again when they have responded.

Has lame service and they’ll suspend your account for no apparent reason and last you cant call them

Might be good if you order a lot but you killing it with your every now & then customer. I know cause I’ve been there. Sometimes I get more charges from you guys than the actual cost of the product.With that being said I might just go to Uber Eats or GrubHub.

Always starts at 40 minutes, that time goes by and stops at 5 minutes. 30 minutes later still 5 minutes. Wasted time and high fees for bad convience.

Favor is Ruining HEB Brand

The favor app is by far the worst delivery app I have ever used. Delivery time is always wrong. If it says 34 min at time of the order it typically takes 1 hour to an hour and a half to receive the order. Runners 50% of the time get something wrong with the order. Either not the correct item is picked up or there are missing items. Meaning that you have paid for the service fee and tip and can get a refund on the items but the service fee and tip are the same. Tipping should be once the order is delivered. My last experience was done one that finally made me decide to not use this app ever again. I ordered 9 items from HEB. Delivery said 32 min (I live 5 minutes away from HEB). After an hour and 20 minutes the app notified that the runner was arriving. 10 minutes later I received a notification that my order was cancelled and a $20 return fee was gonna be applied. The runner reason was that an ID was not provided when I never saw the person and never got contacted through the app. I tried reaching to support and asked them if they could send the runner back. They said they can’t. The app is so bad that once an order is terminated you can’t contact the runner and the customer support can’t either. So in the end the runner had to go back to the store with my order because of his/her stupidity. I didn’t get the order. The runner didn’t get their tip. And HEB didn’t get the money for the order and have to spend time putting the items back in the shelf. The whole thing is ridiculous to say the least and a waste of everyone’s time. Customer support was good to refund me the $20 fee but when I asked what they can do to get my order back, they terminated the chat. I tried reponing the help chat several times asking different questions and every time they would immediately end the chat. Summary: the app is terrible, the Runners are typically illiterate or do not even speak English. The customer support does not do anything to actually solve the issue other than refund you. And everyone in the process wasted time and money. If I was HEB I would sell this app and rebuild it from the ground app because whoever made this app doesn’t know anything about delivery services and built an architecture that is plain dumb and stupid like the people they hire to work for them.

Very disappointed. I am trying to find out how to change my email but there is no way to contact Favor.

I don’t know how I missed this feature of being able to order 15 items and not have to spend the $35. I do on the H-E-B app. I’m so happy.

Suspended my account and still took my money

I used to use favor all the time in college and loved the app. I currently live in Houston and decided to use the app, because I didn’t want to leave the house. I decided to get groceries from HEB. I was checking out and the account popped up and said my account was suspended, but still TOOK MY MONEY! I’m more upset that the app doesn’t allow you to call anyone from customer support or an email to explain 1. Why was my account suspended in the first place. 2. Why are you withdrawing money from my account when you don’t even want my money. Very disappointed and very hungry

Over priced and pathetic helpline

In my first order, i ordered one pound of fish. I received 0.4lb and was charged of 1lb When contacted helpline, they were incompetent to understand the the word lb and kept on arguing that i am wrong On looking at actual vendor site, all items were at-least overpriced by a $1 I thus psid extra $10 in addition to service n delivery feee. Please dont use this app Worst experience

If you don't give users the option to PERMANENTLY hide all alcohol then you ha e a predatory app. Get with the times, HEB. Contribute to to solution, not the problem. If DoorDash and Uber Eats can do it then so can you. I'm willing to give you five stars when you reform yourselves and grow up.

We are grateful for FAVOR!!

Since the start of the pandemic, we started using Favor constantly. Remember when we were washing our groceries when they got delivered?! It is always very convenient, and the runners have always been excellent at delivering what I order. There are a few runners who have accepted my orders more than once. I always love seeing their names pop up. I’ve given homemade pesto and printed recipes to my all-time favorite runner, Paula. Love her! I also used the heck out of Favor when I had a hip replacement followed by a broken ankle! Ugh! I recently subscribed to Favor Gold, and I am saving a lot of money. Grocery items are marked up a little bit through Favor as opposed to shopping yourself, but it sure makes it convenient and is definitely worth it! Favor has been actively and quickly adding items to the database from our grocery store (HEB) that I wasn’t able to search for. The few times I’ve had to contact Favor support, I have been extremely pleased with the interactions. Favor is the most frequently used application besides mail, calendar, etc.

Good luck finding the item you need

The app experience is ok but entering more than two words will just throw your search into a tailspin, even if you enter the exact brand and listing name of the item you want. On top of that, the app defaulted to a store further away, resulting in a higher than expected delivery cost. The runner was great, and I’ll keep shopping at HEB, but it’s either in store or curbside for me moving on.

Update menus of coffee shops

I love the because they provide delivery for Dutch bros but please update the menus of coffee shops since it changes different seasons and holidays

No response from customer service

I ordered food through the app, and it took over an hour to deliver. I called the restaurant and they said the food was ready but the driver left, this was about 10 minutes after the driver let me know the food wasn’t ready. I contacted support about it multiple times through text(only way to contact them), because i was clearly very upset and annoyed, especially since i tipped well on the order, and never got a response. Was my first time and it was horrible. Will never use this app again

Don’t use

I had to order delivery from HEB for the first time. I looked into the Favor app and decided not to use it because the prices were from 20 cents to over a dollar more for the items I needed. My shopping budget is very limited and I have to make every penny count. But, HEB used Favor to delivery my groceries. My order arrived, bag of ice was torn open and my package of bakery cake was open with 1/3 gone. I asked if the driver got a picture of the damaged items and he just shrugged his shoulders. I asked him if he speaks English and he says no. This is unacceptable and I’ll never use Favor in any form or for any reason ever again.

Lied about the tip!

The very first time I used this app The driver told me that tips had to be given in cash that day and she of course didn’t have changed for a 20, but that was what people usually gave her. I try to never use Favor.

Money hungry

I feel like it’s really stupid that you HAVE to tip minimum 2 dollars..that’s dumb and y’all are being money hungry honestly ✌🏾

Waiting 30 mins on an order they never happens

I responded, but for some reason, my comment went away. These were delivered to the back gate instead of the front gate which is next to the driveway and I was very specific about where to go in the instructions. Most of the time they get to the right spot but every once in a while they don’t.

Absolutely Terrible Customer Service – Blames Customers for Their Own Issues

If I could give negative stars, I would. Favor is by far the worst delivery service I’ve ever used. Every time I ordered, something went wrong—canceled orders, incorrect food, ridiculous delays. I had to reach out to support 5-6 times just to get the food. I never once asked for credits, but instead of actually fixing their constant mistakes, they just threw credits at me like that somehow solved the problem. Then, after dealing with all their issues, they punished me by deactivating my account for “too many flags”—flags that only existed because their service is unreliable! So basically, if you expect your orders to be correct and actually show up, you’re a problem to them. Favor has horrible customer service and takes zero responsibility for their mistakes. DO NOT use this app unless you enjoy being blamed for their incompetence. Absolute joke of a company.

Always mistakes

I am done with favor!!! I am always getting wrong orders or missing food or half the fries eaten on the way to deliver to me. DONE!!!! Too many ruined family dinners because of favors mistakes!!!!

Always missing items

Everything good with the delivery but in every order I’m missing items I tried to contact support and nothing. No answer from them.

DONT USE!

If a diver orders the wrong food they will stonewall you. Support won’t help and they will block you from trying to get further help. It was a horrible experience and I would never use it again!

Terrible customer service

Your order will never be correct and they don’t care. They will send the wrong items or flat not send them at all and all you get is a “sorry not sorry” in response.

Why order from here when there’s plenty of other better delivery apps

Every time I order from favor my food sits there for 30 mins takes another 30 mins to get picked up and somehow another 30 mins when the store is 12 mins away from me you can tip 10$ and your food will still be cold I will not recommend this for anything but groceries

Unprofessional and takes your money twice

They take your money with the pending charge and then expect you to pay again once you get the food and don’t return the money to you until the end of the day instead of just updating the pending charge. The service agents are rude and condescending. I would give it 0 stars if I could.

Worst food delivery company

Actually the worst food delivery company. Has gotten my order wrong 3 different times AND completely cancelled my order on accident one time. Drivers will pick up multiple orders and your food will arrive way later than expected. And when you reach out to customer service, they will give you a $5 credit for your next order… LOL. Horrible. Would recommend Uber Eats, Door Dash, or literally any other food delivery company.

This has to be one of the worst apps I’ve tried, which is sad because it belongs to H-E-B the second I signed up and tried to order, account suspended customer service unavailable. Delete the app right away.

Change my opinion after recent interactions

Update 2025: Unfortunately, I encountered the same issue with Favor as I had initially with their app. When I ordered a food item, they charged me more than the actual cost of the food at the restaurant. The item cost $21.53 on the receipt from restaurant, but they charged $26 plus various fees, resulting in a final bill of $40. When I contacted customer service, they explained that they sell foods or items at higher prices and set imaginary prices for them. However, they only provided credit for this specific instance. Notably, there’s no mention of these hidden fees on the receipt in the Favor app. Update: the support team patiently see the situation over my two orders and assist me. I like my recent interaction with support…. Old Review: I order a food from a restaurant, I noticed they reduced two times service fee, once in the restaurant receipt and once again in the app… which cause double service fee… after contacting customer service they first deny it… then when I sent the receipts they refund only 5$ for one order… and they telling me they don’t know where it’s coming from… in my opinion they clearly know and scam people in this way… and they didn’t refund me for the second time?!…. Horrible experience on delivery of my order today…. The driver can’t communicate in English and when he come to my door while I show my ID to his face and he can read it but he want to grab my id to his hand and didn’t give me my order while shouting on me in Spanish… then I contact support and they just said you won’t charge for this order?!! Horrible experience…. I ask support how you can guarantee if I pass over my ID to him he won’t take a picture from it and save it on his phone and used it for scam purposes they don’t have any answer

Kicked off good went down hill

I have ordered before with no issues, great customer service. Initially was offered credits to encourage use. That was a year ago. Today Jan 2025, runners decided to cancel my food order and my ETA kept resetting. Food sat at resturant as delivery ETA counted down but no one to deliver. I contacted customer support to make them aware of this. Not very receptive this time. I had one issue in the past, it was resolved lightening fast. Now Im waiting on text response from CS…still waiting as i write this. CS went down hill too. Not offering to look into what happened. Instead, gave me a $5 future credit. Why would i use favor to go through this again? Why 5 stars? The best thing about the app is you can delete your account. Theres a section in the app for that. I do not recommend based on this last experience.
